Eric Devore, OD
Dr. Devore grew up in in the suburbs outside of Albany, NY. He graduated from Syracuse University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology, and graduated from SUNY State College of Optometry in 2017 as a Doctor of Optometry. He completed clinical externship rotations during his fourth year of school at the Jamaica Plain VA Hospital, Tucson VA Hospital, and Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, as well as an internship rotation within SUNY.
Upon graduation from SUNY, Dr. Devore was granted a residency position within Omni Eye Surgery NY and Omni Eye Services NJ. Here he completed a year of comprehensive training in the treatment and management of acute and chronic ocular pathology. In February 2019, he accepted the position of Center Director of the Omni Eye Surgery Manhattan office, where he also acts as director of the Internship program.
Dr. Devore is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at SUNY Optometry. He lectures at continuing education events in both NY and NJ, and is actively writing and publishing articles within the optometric community. He is also an active member of the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
